Geography
The Italy Milan Mission covers all of Nothern Italy and spreads south into Tuscany. The Italian regions of Valle d'Aosta, Piemonte, Liguria, Lombardia, Trentino Alto Adige, Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Emilia Romagna, and Toscana are all part of the Milan Mission.

The Mission home and office is located in Opera, a small town on the southern side of Milano, in the Lombardia region.

The Italy Milan mission is one of 421 missions currently operating in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It was opened in 1966, 116 years after Lorenzo Snow served as the first missionary to Italy.
  • There are six stakes in the Italy Milan Mission, as shown in the map ("Pali" is "Stakes" in Italian).
  • We currently have approximately 190 missionaries serving, each in one of the cities marked on the map above.
