Ci Vediamo alla Copia Salatino

After serving faithfully for 23 months,

and then touring great and exotic places for several weeks,

Brother and Sister Salatino

returned to their home in California today.

They will certainly be missed by all and we would like

to say to them...

Grazie mille per il vostro buonissimo lavoro

nella Missione di Milano!

"Ci vediamo" means

We'll see you again!

You are always welcome at our table.

Wherever our table may be.

God be with you until we meet again.

Well Done!

Missionary life is full of

life changing experiences.

Every day shows a commitment against

worldly odds to be a

disciple of Jesus Christ.

Every missionary makes a sacrifice of some sort

to serve for eighteen months or two years.

Every missionary

has earned the phrase,

"Well done, thou good and faithful servant".

We extend that phrase of praise to these five.

Thank you for your valiant service.

You will be greatly missed.

Grazie Mille!

Many Hands Make Light Work

Each person has important specific responsibilities that are vital

to receiving, training, legalizing, matching, transporting

and making your new missionary feel

not just welcomed,but loved.

Which, indeed, they are.

while learning to become more like our Savior begins...

To introduce you to their first "day"

and their arrival at Linate Airport:

Anticipation.... here they come!

On to Duomo di Milano and "finding" via metro.

Time to try our Italian....

Ten missionaries enjoyed the success

of placing five copies of

The Book of Mormon

in only one hour.

Amazing!

Many were also able give out printed information.

This group is ready to enjoy the commitment of missionary work.

Today has been a very good start.

Dinner at the mission home.
Salad, pizza, bread, lasagna, gelato and biscotti.
What a great day!  What a wonderful group!
We are blessed!
