Zone Conferences - April 2018

We are blessed to serve with such wonderful missionaries.
When we rise together to do this wonderful work
there is unity and energy that is founded in faith.
Our trainings were great.
The itinerary is as follows:
~~
Song and prayer.
Recitations.
Introduction of new missionaries.
Spiritual thought.

President Allen - Welcome
We follow the example of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego in Daniel 3:

17- "If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning
fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
18- But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods,
nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up."

We do our part.  We work hard.  We receive what we receive at God's hand
and if we receive not, we still work hard and do our part.

STL's - Mostra Examples
The word "mostra" means "to show".
This is the modern version of a street-board or "soapbox preaching".
A group of missionaries use one of various methods
to show people in an area something that will
spur an interest in our message.

ZL's - New Approach to Old School Finding.
The most important thing we do is find.
If this does not take place there will be few,
if any, people to teach.  How can we be better at this
important aspect of missionary work?

Assistants - Efficiency Report and
Working with Members and Family History Finding.
We have improved our efforts according to the charts.
We have a wonderful opportunity to offer people to connect to their
ancestors.  This in turn will possibly connect them to the gospel.

Sister Allen - More, Better, Strive, Miracles
We want to have more of many things...
more investigators, faith, work.
We need to do better if we want more.
Better requires seriously striving.
More + Better + Strive = Miracles.
The song, H# 243, "Let Us All Press On" is an anthem
of what we need to do.

President Allen - Challenges
To find 400 contacts in the remainder of this transfer.
To fast from Facebook for one week.

Closing testimonies of outgoing missionaries.
Mission hymn and "family prayer".

Mission Leadership Council - April

It was a great Consiglio!
(Mission Leadership council)
We trained and counseled about things
that are important to the mission.

Missions are living, breathing "animals".
They are either moving forwards or backwards.
There is no such thing as
still, resting, pause.

We constantly strive to move forward.
There is no other acceptable way to go.
If we slip backwards in some way
 we simply correct course
and move forward again.

We count on these leaders to
hold the lantern
(and mission standards)
high.
To help their fellow missionaries
to do what we came to do -
Preach repentance and baptize converts.

Sister Trainer Leaders -
Bowthorpe, Mitchell, Henderson, Dawson, Berrey, (Slla. Allen) Santoro, Pope, Evans,
Henson, Mineer

Zone Leaders -
Gilette, Kewene-Hite, Petersen, Johnson, Haws, Ross, Sanchez Di Bella, Gleave, Stratton, Gould, (Pres. Allen) Laudert, Crowther,  Calton, Dalton (AP), Montalto (AP), Baker, Challis, Johnson, Wagstaff, Workman

A Changing of the AP Guard

We would like to announce
a change of assistant assignment.
An Assistant to the President
will typically serve for six months.
It can occasionally be a transfer more or less,
but Anziano Brown served faithfully
(with his companion Anziano Dalton)
in an exemplary and dedicated way for the last six months and
is now out in the field of Udine with a new companion.
Sincere appreciation from President and Sorella Allen,
as well as from all Milano Missionaries, for his hard work
in moving this mission forward.
Your example is not to be forgotten.

Grazie Mille Anziano Brown!

Anziani Brown and Dalton

We welcome Anziano Montalto.
We enjoy working with all our missionaries
and when change comes we never replace someone,
we simply open the door for a new person
to continue in the Lord's work.

It is HIS work.
We all simply do our best
and lives are blessed... including our own.
