Plenty of Missionaries Going and Coming

We are increasing in the number of missionaries departing and right now we are still having many missionaries coming into the mission.  Just under twenty missionaries returned to their homes after eighteen months to two years of service and just over twenty missionaries entered the mission to begin their eighteen to twenty-four months of service.

These three Anziani returned home a bit early to get into school

These missionaries departed on January 23, 2015

And here they come!

All here safely and cheering about it!

and head for the bus!

We are on the bus

and are REALLY in Italy

and are still SMILING!

After a quick lunch, we were off to do some finding on the mezzi

Getting contact information is important

We exited at the Duomo and were in awe of Milano centro

and the beautiful Duomo

We stopped to turn our heel three times

at the lucky boar in the Galleria
We continued to share our message

even though it was raining!

After dinner and testimonies, the arriving missionaries were taken to a hotel for a good night's rest.  The next day, the trainers came in and the missionaries were matched up with their companions.

On January 27, 2015, we received a new missionary from Northern Italy who is serving a mini-mission.

Then on January 28, 2015, we received another missionary arriving from the United States.

This Anziano found out where he was serving by looking at the transfer board
And he and his companion had dinner at the Mission Home

A couple of weeks later, the new missionaries and their companions came back in two groups for more training on how to do missionary work.

We are grateful for these new missionaries and the service of the departing missionaries.  Serving the Lord full-time is not an easy task, but we have learned that we can do hard things and realize great joy in the service of our Heavenly Father.
