Temple progress! Angel Moroni!

It has been ten years (2008) since the Rome temple was
announced in conference by our prophet,
Thomas S. Monson.
After many challenges a milestone has been accomplished,
March 26, 2017, Angel Moroni was placed on the top spire.
His trumpet announces not only progress in
the construction of this beautiful edifice,
but truth.
That is what we find in the gospel of Jesus Christ,
truth.

What a blessing this will be for
a beautiful country
and the faithful saints of Italy.

Finished, but never done.

Two years (or 18 months) is such a short time.

Comment from the testimony meeting:
"I wanted all that a mission had to offer
because I saw the good it did for others.
I received far more than I expected ...
a strong testimony of Jesus Christ
as my Savior."

Your service was foundational.
Not just for those whose lives you touched -
but a foundation for the rest of
YOUR life.

Go forth with faith!

 Luke 22:32
But I have prayed for the, that thy faith fail not:
and when thou art converted, strengthened thy brethren.

Fear or faith?
That is a question every missionary has to ask
himself every time they open their mouths.

The two cannot coexist.
It is a choice.

They chose well.
The Faithful Five.

Fabulous Five!

We welcome our new missionaries
The Fabulous Five
They are ready to go.

We have asked them to
"forget yourselves and go to work"
as spoken by the father of Gordon B Hinckley.

Thank you for coming!
We welcome you.

To all who read this blog -

We are so very grateful for our senior couples.
They choose to put aside their personal lives
(including precious grandchildren)
to serve God and fulfill temple covenants.
They are sorely needed
~everywhere~
and bless the lives of all they associate with.
Consider adding a mission plan for your future.
You will never regret this season of service.
