Zone Conferences - April 2018

We are blessed to serve with such wonderful missionaries.  

When we rise together to do this wonderful work

there is unity and energy that is founded in faith.

Our trainings were great.  

The itinerary is as follows:

President Allen - Welcome 

We follow the example of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego in Daniel 3:

17- "If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning

fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.

18- But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods,

nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up."

We do our part.  We work hard.  We receive what we receive at God's hand

and if we receive not, we still work hard and do our part.

STL's - Mostra Examples

The word "mostra" means "to show".

This is the modern version of a street-board or "soapbox preaching".

A group of missionaries use one of various methods 

to show people in an area something that will

spur an interest in our message. 

ZL's - New Approach to Old School Finding.

The most important thing we do is find.

If this does not take place there will be few,

if any, people to teach.  How can we be better at this 

important aspect of missionary work?

Assistants - Efficiency Report and

Working with Members and Family History Finding.

We have improved our efforts according to the charts.

We have a wonderful opportunity to offer people to connect to their

ancestors.  This in turn will possibly connect them to the gospel.

Sister Allen - More, Better, Strive, Miracles

We want to have more of many things...

more investigators, faith, work.

We need to do better if we want more.

Better requires seriously striving.

More + Better + Strive = Miracles.

We will end with our new granddaughter, Rose, who was born during
 zone conferences.  She is half a day old in this picture - number 10 granddaughter
out of 12 grandchildren.  Life is good.  We are richly blessed.
