New Missionary Training

After 4-5 weeks of arriving in the Milan Mission
we bring the new missionaries and their
trainers back for training again.
They have a month of missionary work
"under their belts"
and have learned so much -
part of which is how much they still have to learn.

We are grateful to see their faces smiling.
We enjoyed our time with them
and are grateful to serve along side them.

These are a few candid pictures of that day.
I hope I caught your son or daughter.
Forgive me if I didn't.

We can learn from activities.
Problem solving with your companion
can be challenging...
but hopefully also fun.

We love our missionaries!
They are doing well.
They appreciate your love and support.

A great experience has begun!

Consiglio - 2018

Is there truly a never-ending supply of amazing missionaries?
Yes.
As I look at this picture I realize again the gospel must be true.
There is no way such great young people
would come all the way to Italy
at their own expense
to share something they didn't believe in.
Their desire to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ is paramount.
Their efforts to lead sincere.
Their goodness apparent.
We are blessed.

Outgoing Missionaries - September 2018

It hurts to say good-bye.

One thing that helps salve the inevitable departure is knowing
there are so many others looking forward to seeing them the next day.
We taught them, guided them, assisted them in their individual challenges,
and, especially, cheered them on.
We also loved them to pieces!
Thank you for supporting them in this challenging call
to serve the Lord Jesus Christ,
by sharing them with the people of Italy
and us.

It was certainly our pleasure to serve with them.

We wish you could have heard their closing testimonies.
You would be proud.
They know who they are "working for".

in the leadership, training and plain hard work
of the Italy Milan Mission.

Assistanti Laudert and Kjar

Anziano Kjar is from Utah and has been serving
for over a year.

We look forward to working with them both.

New Missionaries - September 2018

Safe and sound.

I am reminded of words from the song:
Come, Ye Thankful People

"All is safely gathered in Ere the winter storms begin."

From your home to ours, they are safely gathered here
and we will watch over them.
More importantly, the Lord will watch over them.
We are grateful to have them here.
They are needed and we will rely on them
to do their best.

Here they are...
