Consiglio - Mission Leadership Training

It never ceases to amaze me....

There is, apparently, a never-ending wellspring of
light and goodness
in those who come here to serve.
When we are with the missionaries
we have felt like sunbathers
on a tropical beach
soaking in the suns rays...

Always a warmth
that brings smiles of gratitude to our faces.
We soak it in.

Sorelle - Ashcraft, Drent, DelleFoglie, Stephenson, (Slla Allen) Smith, Mason, Spencer, Bodily
Anziani - McKinstry, Ariante, Welch, Wilks, Haws, Cako, Albright, Elliott, (Pres Allen) Buckner, Wickizer, O'Riordan, Nordgran, Cahoon, Downs, Abplanalp, Elwood

They are amazing!
The mission is in good hands.

Nuovi Assistenti!

We would like to welcome
our new assistants.
Our mission is blessed with an abundance
of great missionaries
(because they are ALL great)
and it is time for these two to serve.
We are preparing for a new mission president.
It is an exciting time!

Thank you Anziano Haws and Anziano Nordgran.
This is a busy time!

Avanti!

Farewell to Great Missionaries!

Some things become easier as they go along...
but
some things only get harder...

Our last group to send home was every bit as tough
(and even a bit tougher)
as our previous 23 groups.
Again - a strong group of missionaries!
We have been blessed by these associations
as they have done what they came to do...
to preach repentance and baptize converts into
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Their final testimonies were tender.
Saying good-bye was tender.
Walking away from the airport seemed so very hard.

 L-R, Front to Back
Pres & Slla Allen, Sorelle Flores, Dominguez, Merl, Simpson, Miller, DeAngelis, Anderson, Tafur
Anziani - Favro, Halterman, Tenney, Shill, Heidemann, Ochs, Ruger, Parkett, Ewell

We're next.
What an incredible experience this has been.

Three missionaries came on a later flight and unfortunately
missed our metro time on the way to Duomo di Milano.
We are always so relieved to have them together
safe and sound.
They will love serving here!

Here's a recap of their arrival...

Welcome committee
Anziano Rios (Clerk) President Allen, Anziano Halterman, (Outgoing AP) Anziano Haws (new AP) Anziano Nordgren (New AP) Anziano Russbuelt (Outgoing AP) Anziano Escalante (Secretary)

 ....all together!

Now we have all the pictures ... almost...
but this is a good representation of their first 24 hours.
There were moments of nodding off,
perhaps even briefly falling asleep.
As President Allen has called each to check on them
his report is good.
What a wonderful group of missionaries!
We are blessed.
